Baby Colton-Vancouver Newborn Photography

Social Media can be quite amazing. I moved around a fair bit when I was younger, and made lots of friends in different parts of BC. Thanks to Facebook, I’ve been able to keep in contact with some of them, and one of them is the lovely Drea. It’s been 17 years since we last saw each other, so it was great to see her, and meet her awesome husband Chris and their brand new baby Colton. We first met in Grade 1, so it is amazing to me that when we met we were pretty much babies, and now I’m photographing her baby! He was super adorable and so much fun to take photographs of, and it gave Drea and I a chance to catch up. And our husbands seemed to hit it off really well too! Can’t wait to see this little man grow, and snap some more images at 6 months!

Baby L – Vancouver Maternity Portraits

They say it was love at first site, and I believe them. Just looking at these two, they are so in love with each other and so excited to have baby L on the way, I am so excited for them! Karine and Martin are so lovely, they came in to the studio and we were able to get some amazing portraits of Karine in her pregnancy glow, and believe me she glows. I only hope one day I look as great as she does pregnant. I look forward to meeting baby L when he/she comes into this world. This shoot is a reminder of how much I love my job, they were such a pleasure to be with and their love story is so great!

Kate – Vancouver Children Photography

Robyn has been a regular client since she had little Ben, and now Kate,  you will recognize them from the blog, the two of them have been on here a few times! Well as you know Christmas is right around the corner so we got together to do some Christmas card shots. These two are so cute, Ben is so full of energy it was hard to get him to sit for even one second, Kate on the other hand loves the camera, look at those big beautiful eyes. I love photographing this family, they are so much fun! So many cute shots, I think it may be hard for Robyn to pick one out for the card. Trygg – Vancouver Family Photography

I had the pleasure of photographing one of my oldest friends and her new family recently. Paige is someone who I grew up with and hold dear to my heart! We have been fast friends since we were about 13… unfortunately life gets in the way sometimes and we haven’t had the chance to see each other as much as we would like. About two years ago I heard some great news, Paige had run into another friend of ours from highschool, Kit, (whom she briefly dated back then) and they rekindled their relationship. As some of us at this age of our lives have had long term relationships, Kit was coming to this new relationship with some super cute, full of energy boys!! Fast forward two years… the new little family gets to welcome Trygg! He is so adorable with those chubby cheeks and big blue eyes…he is a pretty special little guy so I am sure he will have no problems keeping up to his older brothers. I am so happy and proud of my friend and I know only the best things will happen for her.

Ava – Vancouver Baby Photography

We met little Ava when her parents received a gift certificate for a portrait session at a silent auction we donated to during Cornucopia in Whistler. Her dad being a restauranteur, he owns Cru in Vancouver, they attend the annual event and ended up bidding on our session. They decided to come in to get some portraits of little Ava for family Christmas cards. She is so cute, with that big smile and blue eyes…what a doll. I am sure they will have a hard time picking just one for their card!
